Getting there.
The RER line B rapid train service connects the airport with central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) runs from the station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Chatelet les Halles, St Michel and Denfert-Rochereau, for connections to the Metro. A single ticket costs €7.85. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Roissybus shuttle serves all three terminals and runs to Place de l'Opera. Buses run every 15 minutes and a single ticket costs approximately €8. Getting around.
Central Paris is easy to explore on foot, and the Metro (underground) is both reliable and cheap; it runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights, and tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
